Southern Schools

My name is Jonna Adams. I am a graduate of Southern High School. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Peru State College and later received my Master of Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Technology, also from Peru State. I recently finished classes at the University of Nebraska-Kearney to receive my Library/Media Specialist endorsement. I have taught 2nd grade here at Southern for 21 years. I am currently in my second year of teaching 4th Grade. I live in Wymore with my fiancé, Travis and my 4 sons. My sons are Drake, who is also a teacher here at Southern, Brock who is a Utility Lineman, and Paxx and Maverick who also attend Southern. I enjoy most of my free time following my sons' activities. I enjoy music, reading, volleyball, traveling, spending time outdoors, and time with family and friends. I am a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and of course our Southern Raiders!
