Hi there! I'm Brenda Gronewold, a retired teacher with over three decades of experience, and I'm passionate about helping students achieve their goals and become happy, successful adults. After a year of substituting, I'm thrilled to be serving as the JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) Specialist, teaching and mentoring students at Southern.

When I'm not busy in the classroom, I love spending time with my family. My husband Gary and I live by Pickrell, where we farm and have a cow/calf operation with our son Reece. Our family continues to grow and includes our three grown children, their spouses: Megan (Nathan), Reece (Megan), and Colton (Kaitlyn), and our five, soon-to-be six grandchildren. I'm excited to be a part of this community and can't wait to see what we can accomplish together!
