Fewer responsibilities and bills. Enjoy it while it lasts!

BS in Veterinary Science from UNL

Safety & Compliance Manager at Environmental Maintenance Services, Inc.

5. If you could go back to high school, would you?

Probably not. It was nice having fewer responsibilities in high school, but on the other hand it's nice to have a steady income!

6. What advice would you give a student attending high school?

Learn how to study in high school, and always try to challenge and better yourself, in school and your career.

7. What is your favorite part about your job?

The diversity of our work. It eliminates the monotony of a job. Also, I get to work with friends I've had since high school, and I have a great boss.

8. What was your favorite part about college?

The friends and connections I made with people, many of which I stay in touch with to this day.

9. What is the hardest part of your job?

Nothing is terribly hard at my job. Working in the extreme cold is probably my least favorite though.

10. Would you go back and change your degree if you could?

Absolutely. I would've went to a trade school. Less student loan debt, start earning income sooner, with a better starting wage than many entry level jobs in other fields. Choose your field of study wisely.
